I want to help students find success in math at any level and reach new academic heights. Hobbies

As a member of Campus Crusade for Christ, I volunteered as the weekly meeting Emcee as well as participated in events to help the community (Feed My Starving Children, retreats, etc.). Over the years I have been involved in Debate and Mock Trial. In high school, I was a mock trial tri-captain and voted most inspirational. During my student teaching, I was a volunteer coach for the Bradley Tech Debate/Forensics Team. At the University of Wisconsin River Falls, I was elected the Swing Dance Club President where I led the club of 60 members. I was the club's instructor for 2+ years, helping everyone learn East Coast, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, Aerials and Shim-Sham. We performed for the university and community as well as reached out to other universities and swing dance clubs. I was a part of a dance group where I had to learn new choreography and dance steps. I even performed with them at the Minnesota State Fair in 2013. An often-overlooked skill of mine that relates to teaching is my sense of humor. I have performed stand-up comedy at Corner's Comedy Underground and ACME Comedy Club, written comedy and acted on stage.
